[NO SPOILERS] - My honest opinion, don't pay attention to the average score, this has been skewed by people hating on the game even before it was released for all the wrong reasons . If the following apply to you, do not miss out on this game, get it, play it! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Get this game if: -You liked/loved the first game...obviously... In a lot of ways, TLoU2 offers more of the same in terms of actual gameplay, and that's not a bad thing. It does so with a bigger story in bigger settings and awesomely better visuals. It expands the gameplay of the original with a few new tools and moves; don't expect to be blown away with how much new stuff there is here,but it's enough. Side note, if you played uncharted 4, you'll notice naughty dog putting what they developed there to good use in this game. - You like a good story. Important that you like story driven games and more so, you like stories that make you think. Without spoiling anything, the story in this game will make you feel many things, more so than the first. It's not a typical good guys vs bad guys where the protagonists always does the right thing. far from it, you may end up feeling downright guilty or uncomfortable having to perform certain actions...but It's also about finding humanity where we would usually not to look for it, many times by choice. It's about revenge and consequences and looking at things from different points of view. it's about our ability (or inability) to empathize. It's about 'what would you have done?' and 'can you really blame them for having done what they did?' -You like blood/gore/brutal violence in post apocalyptic settings.......well...you should go see somebody about that...but yes...this game is not for people who look away during the violent scenes in horror movies....there's a lot of killing, most of which is done by your character, and most of it is very violent, brutal and bloody. Overall, I had a hell of a time with this game and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great, story-driven gaming experience.
