Better than Payback and worse than Heat, though that's not saying much. I don't know what NFS is doing, or why they won't go back to their model that worked the best by community standards (NFS MW 2005). Instead they keep trying to add stuff that no one wants. Who asked for "stylized" driving? Not anyone that I've talked to. The story is okay, hence it getting 2 stars instead of 1. The online is extermely boring, yes they implemented "class" based racing. But they did it in a way that you only race against the same 3 cars in every class cause as the cars get better so does their class and low class cars cannot be modded in a way that makes them competitive in the high class races. Also it's always the same races that people wanna do, just like Heat. The music is the absolute worst that any NFS has ever had. Overall I would not recommend this game outside playing it for the included cost with Gamepass ONLY for the story. Which was overly cringe and heavily reliant on Fast and Furious nonsense. But the mechanics of how the story progressed were nice and fun.
