I have made the decision this morning to turn off your programme, I can no longer tolerate the likes of Michael Alan Newton-Parry and other Guests you have on the show, they are no longer welcome in my home. This mornings comments by Michael Alan Newton-Parry regarding Pension increases and the triple lock show just how far he is from reality. A CPI inflation increase of 9.3% by your calculations will give an annual increase of jus under £1000.00 PA or £20.00 per week. For someone on £40,000.00 PA a 9.3% increase will yield an increase of £3,720.00 PA or £71.54 per week (Yes they will pay Tax on that). How does a State Pensioner address this current inflation with £20.00 per week. I was taught "shun percentages like the very devil - look at the cash in real numbers", I suggest that you might like to follow that approach. Mr Newton-Parry is not worth the money you pay him and neither are some of your other guests. By the way I did like Mick Lynch on your programme and I am no lefty communist far from it.
