It's not horrible. It is exactly what you expect from Snyder, which is explosions and weird plot leads and a story that always feels just a bit less than the sum of the parts. He has this knack of adding in stupidity for the sake of a good shot (the parachuting military dude in the opening credits). Something you sit back and say, "that would never happen", but it looks good on camera, so the hell with it - roll film.
If you are otherwise engaged (homework or a work project) and you want something running in the background that you can sorta watch and not miss anything? This is the movie for you.
