This is a great series that I enjoyed, different in the fact that it was an accident that cause John Crichton to find himself on the ship. The ending of the series was to me a shock since the main characters were killed. This does not leave room for the series to continue. A follow on series would have been nice.

I purchased the DVD for the series and as an avid Science Fiction Fan I could not finish the DVD. Compared to other series like the new series being produced by SyFy and the Star Trek Discovery I can not wait for the new season. Just to be fair to series that were short like Firefly the characters were interesting, Crusade was trying to capture an audience with the Science Fiction bug to a series that was poor initially and not given the opportunity to become a good series with the use of supporting CGI to enhance the series. Contrary to Firefly, which had a great theme that also finish prematurely.

Babylon 5 is a great Series, however Star Trek has been the catapult for the Science Fiction Genre. The original series was ahead of its time and comparing it to today's Science Fiction Series. Deep Space 9 and Voyager are far superior to the Next Generation; there is also the advances in CGI make today's Science Fiction Series are good, the Star Gate Series are great, but the Babylon 5 Series have another aspect that is missing in the the Star Gate and the Star Trek Series. Star Wars has been making major leaps by making more movies to keep the fans happy. Battle-star Galactica remake by SyFy was a total success; Babylon 5 needs to make a comeback with modern CGI and to keep the fan base happy and bring new members into the fan base.
