I honestly don’t think that this sends young kids a very good message, because although we understand the message children think differently and considering that most of the movie is revolved around how the ugly dolls are rejects and that is what children will absorb and will take from the movie only the last 15 minutes of the movie is them acknowledging that they are loved and that their flaws OK and even then the last song of the movie is I’m broken and I’m beautiful and I don’t know how they expect children to take that but I personally don’t think the children should be made that aware of the floors from such a young age my niece is very self-conscious and she’s only six years old she over thinks a lot of things and if I were ever to let her watch that movie she would only leave the movie theater with more doubt in her self and more questions anymore and unhappiness.
