I would love to give this book 5 stars because I am such a big fan of Colleen Hoover, but I just can’t do it for the sake of loving her.
The book was enjoyable. I love how Colleen Hoover’s books make me feel butterflies. I always joke to my husband that reading her books lights a spark in me that makes me want to jump his bones. She can capture the feelings of love and lust in a way that remind me of falling in love.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the chapters, I loved the psychology behind the characters and the mention of Asa’s childhood. It really touches on the effects our past can have on us as adults.
I can’t give this book 5 stars because it dragged on. I lost interest three quarters in. It should’ve ended the first time you thought it was over… Not the second or third time. That was a little much and I felt rushed to finish because I just wanted it to end already!

This was my very first Chevy read and I loved it. I wasn’t totally sold at first, but I’m glad I continued to get to know the characters and a good feel for how Chevy writes. My slow start picked up the pace over the course of a few days and then from about halfway and on, I was totally hooked. I enjoyed the twists and turns and different view points from specific characters. I will be purchasing another Chevy book soon. She hooked me with this one.

This movie pulled me in while also tugging on my heartstrings. As much as I enjoyed this movie, I felt like I was always on edge waiting for just a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more… But it never came.
