I finally got to watch It Ends With Us because it’s now on Netflix! — IT WAS TERRIBLE! I read the book and the book was phenomenal and really showed the darkness of domestic violence… the movie skipped over so much information, so much vitally important details about Atlis and Lily’s relationship, about Ryle’s history and the violence he really showed. The incidents of DV in the movie looked accidental not even remotely close to how horrific it was in the book. The actors did an amazing job with such a delicate topic. But the plot was missed by a lot and it was very rushed.
