I found the book very useful and it changed my life.
It goes into a lot of detail of how the chemistry of the body works but it also provides reader friendly summaries of aspects you may need to improve your diet and health.
There is a lot of scientific detail in the first chapters but it builds confidence that the guidelines offered are well based on science. Some readers may want to dig into those details, although I think most would get lost or bored with them.
Overall I would definitely recommend this book, as ajusting my diet according to it changed my life for the better and it is possible to have a lighter read of the book skipping the more scientific explanations.
