Cauta Pacea (Caută Pacea)

I thought I was watching a zombie flick until I realized it was just Bruce Willis sleepwalking through a painfully awful script. The outside of the ship looks like an egg carton painted silver, so don't go looking for amazing special effects either. 🥱

While a bit slow at times, I found the overall story greatly enjoyable. I especially like the fact that it wasn't given the typical Hollywood ending treatment. As long as you're looking for something besides explosions and laugh out loud gutter comedy you will probably enjoy it.

In many ways better than Homecoming. It captures the humanity of Parker through humour, angst, and drama while delivering a spiderpunch. My Peter-Tingle is telling me this is going to be a smash hit.

This series started out extremely strong. It was stylish and slick with excellent episodes, intrigue, and a great knowledge to how things worked. Then it got weird. The final season was atonal and strange. The idea of somehow working the First Lady in as Vice President started the odd ride and it just got weirder from there. I actually found myself upset with the 'insane Lady Macbeth' portrayal of Claire Underwood as it seemed to rely heavily on stereotypes of female politicians as emotional and unbalanced at times. This definitely shone through in the way they chose to start the series with Claire being 3 weeks in seclusion. The final season ruined the series for me, I'm afraid. The pacing was bad, the storyline was bizarre, and it relied on characters we hadn't dealt with before creating some weird cabal. It just got weird.

So very dry... so very very dry...
