As a devoted Star Wars junkie I appreciate the off shoot sagas. “kenobi”, “mandalorian” to name a few. Thrilling and closely tied in the origins. The Acolyte I have tried so hard to get into it but I don’t run to my TV on its scheduled time like any of the others. It’s just…. Meh. It’s ok but not riviting, no cliff hanging plots at the end leaving me with “Oh I can’t wait til next week to see…” It’s just not the calibre I had hoped for, episode 1 showed so much promise but never flourished for me. Yes the storyline is good but it’s not an adventure story per se…it’s more of a slow burn. I’m waiting to be blown away and get excited for the next episode but it’s leaving me with disappointment instead.
