The competitors usually buy rubbish, and the so called experts seem powerless to intervene. Today December 9th Danny Sebastian described snuff boxes being made of various materials including pulped potato. Obviously misreading his script, I had to rewind to check his comments. He is no expert and should not be let anywhere near Bargain Hunt. The same can be said for many of the 'experts'. It's about time the BBC started to use real experts and invite genuine antique collectors and stop dumbing down the programme.
