As someone who loved this book series in middle school, I was so excited to see a film adaptation come out! I honestly loved this movie so much and watching it as an adult I felt like a kid in the theatres again watching divergent for the first time! It was so nostalgic to the books and I thought it stayed pretty true, definitely got more into the third book than I expected but I wasn’t mad at it either. Joey King was honestly perfect to play Tally, and Peris was just how I had imagined! I want to reread the books now! Seriously, what a fun movie! Worth the watch especially if you read the books!
