I will say M night Shamylan got me because he made everything so obvious that it couldn't possibly make sense the guy was the killer which is shown and hinted at the whole film, but low and behold this is the one movie where he doesn't do a twist he intentionally shows you that he's the killer and that there won't be a twist throughout the entire movie. It feels like Shamylamadingdong got tired of people talking about how he did twists in movies, and was like alright I'll just make a terrible movie that would never happen, but plot twist no twist.
