Basically, most of the major tabloids are trying to claim this as a nostalgia fueled cash grab. Yeah, it does invoke a certain sense of nostalgia, but not nearly to the point that the likes the LA Times, NYT, or what have you make it out to be. There's a lot of themes in this movie, and everyone will take something different away from it. The basic underlying tone doesn't feel like the Ghostbusters any of us grew up with, but rather something that has a sense of what Ghostbusters was about, with the only real peak of nostalgic exploitation coming in the final act _at most_. Even then, it's a bunch of kids wanting to live up to their adult, and now elderly and outright dead in one case, analogs.
