Wooden acting and dialogue. And those accents!
Rapid cutting from subplot to subplot destroys continuity, while the main plot moves at a snail's pace. Is the boring old man with the beard ever going to say or do anything?
Unfortunately sprinkling cutting edge visuals over everything doesn't help.
