I have loved previous Holly Jackson books so I thought I would buy her new one. It was slow going for awhile and I felt like it ended a bit quickly and Holly took awhile to explain and it didn’t have as much big twist like book a good girls guide to murder. But it was pretty enjoyable and easy-going and was easy to remember what was happening. I got to say, though the family twist was very unexpected.

It is honestly, one of my most favourite murder mystery books. I love that the two main characters develop a little romance when solving a case together with the dangerous and scary risks they have to take. Honestly, I recommended this book to so many people and they have loved it as well and it isn’t slow going and it’s fast and you get into the story straight away. I have read all the books now and I’m in love with all of them. Holly Jackson is probably one of my most favourite authors of all time
