The plot for this story was definite and clear from the very start. The use of CGI for the special effects and even the ghost of Ego Spengler was *chef's kiss* perfection. Seeing a younger generation being passed the torch down from the original Ghostbusters, (Ray, Peter and Winston) really brought the whole thing full circle. Stay until after the credits and you get to see Dana Barret, though I'm pretty sure she and Pete Venkman got married. It's a funny little scene of them going back to a scene from the first Ghostbusters film, revisiting the first scene where we meet Pete. But, aside.from the fan service, I thoroughly enjoyed that this film was also about a struggling family who didn't really have very strong bonds, and at the end, we can see that the family has been made better for all they experienced. Take your tissues with you and be prepared to cry, laugh, and actually get scared a few times. This film definitely deserves better reviews than Rotten Tomatoes gives it.
