Not my favorite movie but, really, could anyone play Lucy to the fans satisfaction, especially since the Lucy we know is a part she played and not the real person? It seemed like too much was being stuffed into this movie and it didn't work for me. I found the going back and forth in time along with the comments by the writers in their older years, confusing and disjointed. It was good to see Linda Lavin, though for a while I thought she was Valerie Harper..This was supposed to be about a week but so much other stuff is put in the movie that I thought the too much was time spent on Lucy reworking the table scene. And Javier really needed more voice lessons. His singing was not on par with Desi’s. And did we really need an explicit sex scene in this movie? No.
