Belle

Goated. Pacing was a little too fast but the story was easy to follow and the character arcs and parallels between Sonic and shadow were great. Jim Carrey was sooooo fun and Keanu was perfect as shadow. Highlight was Maria for me. Her bond with shadow was just soooo pure and strong and beautiful and seeing them hang out CRUSHED ME. However, I think that the gerald and eggman stuff did overshadow the hedgehogs sometimes which was a little annoying and some of the jokes were really corny, but the humor overall was fantastic and the comedic timing was amazing. The emotional beats were definitely hit. Despite the goofy humor, Sonic’s serious demeanor at the end and his emotional connection with shadow’s pain and eggman’s speech at the end really balanced the scales and made for an emotional experience
