Disappointing and Frustrating to Watch
I rarely write reviews, but I felt I had to share my frustration after watching this series. The storyline centered around a family that was nearly destroyed—all because of the reckless and immature decisions of a 13- or 14-year-old daughter. What shocked me the most was how the adults, especially the mother, failed to step in and take control during critical moments.
Yes, it’s important to respect children, but this show seemed to take that idea to an unrealistic and dangerous extreme. In serious situations where life and death are involved, children need guidance—not passive acceptance. Letting them make harmful decisions unchecked is not empowering; it’s irresponsible.
Instead of the mother setting boundaries and firmly stopping her daughter from making disastrous choices, she allowed things to spiral. Watching a family come so close to ruin because no one was willing to say “no” was honestly disturbing.
This series sent the wrong message about parenting in high-stakes situations. I walked away feeling disappointed, frustrated, and genuinely upset that such a weak approach to discipline and accountability was portrayed as acceptable—even noble.
