Happy Gilmore 2 was one of the worst and most disappointing movies I've ever seen. I'm a big fan of the original and had been looking forward to the sequel since it'd been announced, so I had high hopes. Happy Gilmore 2 REALLY presumes its audience is stupid. It heavily relies on unnecessary flashbacks for nostalgia purposes and spelling out exactly what it wants its audience to think. Plus, the number of cameos is so outrageous that the bad acting from all of the non-actors in each scene was incredibly distracting. Perhaps they wanted to chock this film full of cameos so that the audience wouldn't notice its embarrassingly bad screenplay.
