I grew up on the original 90s x-men. Even though i was just a kid I knew it was a masterpiece and shaped my view of storytelling and the amazing way x-men told world issues in a fantasy world. Disneys adaptation of the values marvel brought to storytelling meant they took over the movie world with the B characters from the marvel universe but never really hit the heights of the animated x-men from the 90s. This x-men 97 series was perfect. It was everything the original was. It was current but it had the right essence of the original. I cant wait for more series and i hope it never ends. This is x-men. Movie watchers have no idea what is coming, x-men and fantastic 4 will take it to another level. This is the real marvel universe.
