Okay so at first the movie irked me, but it does develop into a really good movie. I do feel like it would have been icing on the cake if Helen Hunt had made an appearance as Kate’s mom. But they were nice enough to give a few nods to the original with Dorothy and the Red Truck and Camper that were so famous and easy to remember in Twister. They somewhat took the original script and twisted it lol, pun intended. Corpos start off as the good guys and you don’t like the Rednecks. The girl is the Corpo the Boy is the Wild wonder. Quite literally flipping the script. They were even nice enough to include an uptight pansy in the backseat in some scenes. Instead if a theatre scene you have a rodeo scene for absolute destruction. It’s basically a modern day take on the Original. Not too bad tbh. Should’ve had Helen Hunt tho.
