Amazing epic retelling of Amleth/Hamlet. Eggers has done it again the man is on the up and up. Naysayers will complain that this film doesn’t stand up to Vikings tv show but that says everything in itself and if you’re complaining and giving it a low score because of the gore. Why are you even watching realistic historical films? You think the vikings raiders only spanked the monks of Lindisfarne? Leave your sensibilities at the door, especially if watching a film with a high rating. The cinematography, the music everything in this film is top class.
