The general public was not a big fan of this album. But real Gaga fans appreciated it because this was a time where Gaga was very depressed and was turning her pain into art. Like she ALWAYS does. Like she did with her newest album Chromatica. This was an album that was very ahead of its time and I believe if released today, it would go #1 again and would certainly not flop.
