Dont waste your time reading this. I normally really enjoy Colleen Hoover books but unfortunately this one was an extreme bore for me. After reading “It Ends With Us” and “Verity,” I had extreme high hopes for this book. Unfortunately that all came crashing down as soon as I was halfway through this book. I struggled through this book near the middle. I first gave it a chance hoping it would pick up the pace or something extreme would happen. There are a few interesting things/situations you want a follow-up/conclusion on which is the only reason you’ll continue to read this book through till the end. I’m sad to say that you’ll be highly disappointed. The only reason i finished this book was because i wanted to start reading another already. To me, none of it made any sort of sense. The ending seemed extremely rushed. None of the issues/characters were addressed in the end. It pretty much just skips a decade. I’m extremely disappointed and will reconsider reading any of Colleen’s other work after this one unfortunately.
