Thrilled that Lift Every Voice was included. Sad that the book made no mention of Earl Robinson (Black and White, The House I Live In, Joe Hill, Lonesome Train ((about Lincoln) and Ballad for Americans.
Perhaps include the musical score of each piece or a CD in the next edition or in the sequel.
All in all, a beautiful collection and narrative. I'm so happy to have this book in my collection.
