I gave The Road Dance 4 stars because I was unaware, shocked, and confused by the disturbingly violent rape scene. The main character Kirsty is a beautiful wonderful young lady who is innocent and undeserving of what has happened to her. Don't read this if you haven't seen the movie but Dr. MacLean is baffling and disturbing. He is a high status doctor in the community. Trusted by everyone and seemly a good man. What happened to his wife? Why did he do this horrible act to this innocent girl? One thing is clear, he paid the price. His evil cost him his life, it cost the life of an innocent baby, he deeply hurt an innocent girl and their whole community. It's amazing how one bad decision can bring so much destruction. We need to love each other always.
