I have played every Pokemon game since they first came out and was hesitant to buy this one because of all the negative reviews. In my opinion, the hate this game is receiving is unjustified. There are so many improvements from Scarlet and Violet and despite a lack of nuance in specific aspects of the graphics, this game is a blast. There are way more good things than bad and I think this is one of my favorite Pokemon games for the Switch. The dialogue, graphics (though they could still be so much better), and battle mechanics are definitely an upgrade from past games.
