This is a really good, original horror sci Fi flick. There's this subscription chemical rejuvenation kit that causes the user to give birth to a younger version of themselves after which they can go for 7 days with a spinal fluid exchange but then switch to the older body with a blood exchange. They alternate. So umm, yah, a lot of uber Alien like transformation, with very accurate blood and guts. Lots of blood oozing out the nose and mouth. Late switching results in aging, such as when the younger over parties. You get deformed fingers, legs, whole bodies, even a fried chicken wing pulled out of one's navel. And this director played by Quaid, named Harvey for obvious reasons, is a riot. Lots of long spooky hallways, red, black, and unfinished. The climax had a two-faced chimera of both selves belching blood all over an audience, then ralphing up a sagging boob. I'm not kidding. And there's more. If you don't like horror flicks or are offended by closeups of fit women exercising, or naked, don't go. No graphic or implied sex, just skin. Very accurate blood color and viscosity, and spatter patterns, by the way. Plenty of other disgusting yellow green fluids and entrails all over tarnation. A must see.
