In spite of being a Prithviraj starrer and a Shaji Kailas direction, Kaduva doesn’t quite bring much to the table. Prithviraj has done enough and more justice to the role, what with his Pala kaaran attire and attitude coupled with the instant aggressiveness of his character that’s so relatable to that of a ‘Kaduva’. Yet the crux and soul of the film, the story, simply felt lacking at times, even dragging towards the end. The violence and fights could have been toned down a notch too. The only upside for me watching this film was that I got to see it in Lulu PVR in Edappally and oh boy do those plush theatre seats do you good!!
