This book is disappointing, and surprisingly boring. It is supposed to be about Donald Trump, or so I thought, but it deals with him only peripherally, with few specific details. The author is evidently bitter about the fact that her father was passed over for promotion in the family business, with Donald, his younger brother, being favoured by their father. Mary Trump’s father however was an inattentive hard-core alcoholic, had serious personality problems, and was fired from other jobs, all of which is minimized by the author. I am not a fan of Trump, and was hoping this book would give some more salacious details, but this was not to be.
