Spencer Durrell

This show is 3/4 high school soap opera and 1/4 resident evil so if you like Riverdale, you’ll love this. Pretty sure I watched the protagonist, Jade, get knocked unconscious a total of 32 times. Lance Reddick always delivers a great performance, but it’s a shame it had to be for a sadly written version of Albert Wesker. Only time I laughed is when Bert throws his breadstick tray at the waitress. Only time I cried was when I hadn’t seen a zombie for 2 whole episodes. At this point in the show, I truly had no idea why I was still watching. SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT I’ll admit, I truly didn’t expect Evelyn to shoot her own son, but that was a pretty great shock. The fact that they’re trying to setup for a second season is so unsatisfying. I just wanted to see the end and I’m not watching another season of this.
