Writing style feels like a middle schooler but that may be up some’s alley

This book is truly a work of art and should be admired as such. The prose, character development, and philosophical thought are conveyed beautifully in a complex yet engaging manner. I was captivated at every part of Siddhartha’s journey of self discovery and revelations of knowledge versus wisdom, ego versus self, and so much more. The juxtaposition of the “child people” and “thought people” offer thoughtful insight into what we are really spending our time and energy on in this life and what we are really seeking. Even as a Christian, I can say I learned so much from this book and pondered on its pages for hours while reading. I think everyone should read this book, especially young people. If you think it’s boring or can’t understand it, then you’re the child people lol.
