I've nvr watched the anime or read the manga even though I'm a huge manga/anime lover. But this LA is driving me to read it and perhaps even watch the anime. Love the characters. Kuwabara is definitely a personal favourite. Love goofy yet very impactful characters. The action cinematography was great. Some fighting scenes reminded me of the Rurouni Kenshin movies esp those involving Hiei which is great. Effects were up to par for me as well. And I love how there are many similarities to older and newer manga like Dragon Ball, Naruto, Bleach etc. Will be looking forward to season 2 and I hope Netflix continues to do justice to the newer LA adaptations.
