My son and I were so looking forward to watching this movie, even though I knew how it ended. I hated this movie. I was a fan of the Von Erich's from the beginning. I watched as each of 4 of the sons died. It was heart-wrenching. I didn't like the "creative license" the writers took. The timeline was screwy. They skimmed over things that would have been more important than the shower scene with David or the sex scene with Kevin and Pam. The WORST thing was, there were 6 brothers, not 5, and leaving CHRIS out of the movie was terrible. He was just as important and loved as the other boys. I have no idea why they would leave him out. He was a brother. He wrestled like the rest of the boys even though he was not as talented as the other 4. Showing the family pictures without Chris in them was disrespectful to him and his family. I also think they didn't do Kevin justice. I have met Kevin and seen him wrestle. I obviously don't know him, but the movie made him seem kind of awkward, whiny and angry. The parents were not very likable. Do we even know that they were like that? I have seen interviews with Kevin that brings that in to question. It was probably the worst biography I have seen.
