Was this movie an analogy for child-grooming? Like, actually so grossed out by their whole dynamic, the infantilization of jacks character while also objectifying/sexualizing him? Like, do we think we're subverting stereotypes by putting the male gaze on men? Like, toxic grooming behaviors exist regardless of gender. Hard ick. Not cute. Literally a love letter to grooming.
