I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would. Austin Butler did an amazing job portraying Elvis, they couldn’t have casted anyone better. One thing that many find as negative is the mix of modern rap with some of Elvis’s songs. As a young adult, I found the mix between the two the perfect mashup to introduce a younger audience to Elvis. One of the many reasons I watched the movie was to listen to the new mixes because I heard them off of TikTok. Other than that, the movie I thought was a little drawn out and long, but that’s the only negative I have for this movie.
