The film has some beautiful visual interest and cinematography. That’s the best I can say about it. Angelina Jolie’s acting is overly dramatic and not believable. And don’t get me started about the singing. I read that Maria Callas’s unbelievably beautiful voice was intermixed with Jolie’s at times. That adds up to recording tricks and overdubs so they can say Jolie sang in the movie. Callas was a great artist who spent years perfecting her craft and bringing joy to audiences worldwide. She did not deserve this messy, depressing adaptation of her later years. If you are a real music fan or musician I would not recommend this film.
