This book surprised me in the best way. I thought it would be another list of generic advice, but it’s so much more personal. The tone feels like someone talking to you over coffee , calm, thoughtful, and occasionally so relatable it makes you smile.
It explains tricky mental health topics in simple words without making them sound simple-minded. You get why certain feelings happen, and you get small steps you can actually try. The best part is how it changes your perspective on others. It makes you notice the little signs in people, the kind you used to overlook.
It’s one of those books you don’t read in one sitting. You go slow, think about it, maybe re-read a page or two. And when you’re done, you realise you’ve been carrying some of its words around with you.
