Stan Yiu

This is of the level of Band Of Brothers / The Pacific. Did not expect an Australian drama to hit so hard and be so visceral. There is no good guys/bad guys in this show; just the reality of war, where soldiers from both sides does their duty, and be fed into the meat grinder that is trench warfare. The series truly conveys the hopelessness that is the battlefield, and it pulls no punches in depicting the sights and carnage of war. This is The Great War at its worst, but TV drama at its best.
