The Bradford I know is a diverse and multicultural city. Virdee shows one perspective, that of the Asian community and how they behave within their community. Not until episode three, do we see a white and, of course, it is portrayed to be racist. I have many friends white British, “coloured” British and I don’t see Bradford as the city portrayed in virdee. Virdee is just another negative view of Bradford which missed the opportunity to show Bradford as the multicultural diverse city of culture we are. Where many cultures live side by side, live together, marry and mix with each other and help one another. Let’s start seeing someone portray a TRUE UNBIASED View of Bradford. WE ARE THE CITY OF CULTURE FOR A REASON!
