M. Night Sham-a-lama-ding-dong out-did himself this time. This film was one of the most poorly acted & directed films from a major gang of professionals I've seen in quite a while. It COULD have been very good if done properly with actors who, at least appeared, to give 100%. I'd have to give the most credit in that regard to John Leguizamo. Everyone else seemed to just "mail it in".

Do NOT let subtitles prevent you from watching this action packed, clever, roller coaster ride thru the streets & country sides of Poland. If you find the character of Lisbeth Solander entertaining in the "Dragon Tattoo" trilogy then you'll love the "lady" detective in "Plagi Breslau". A female "Dirty Harry", she kicks butts & takes names trying to catch a grisly and cryptic killer, while battling her own demons. The level of realism & gore is well beyond most TV offerings and the unique cinematography adds zip & depth to the already manic joyride this film provides. Like I said at the start, don't be put off by the subtitles. You may just find that some of the best of Netflix can come from other countries, and often does.
