This movie could have been better without Hollywood's agenda against marriage. Garfield's character was a saint, and Pugh's character was a remarkably unlikeable feminist who didn't deserve him in the least. I'll give away a slight spoiler, but should be of no surprise: their relationship started out as a casual hook-up. (There were so many unnecessary naked scenes and sex scenes). In reality, a woman isn't going to find a long-suffering man who will stick around like Garfield's character did by participating in casual hook-ups, and good men would rarely put up with women as crass and as selfish as Pugh's character, unless they're codependent. Hollywood is trying to convince us that there is nothing toxic about the hook-up culture, that co-habitation is better than marriage, and that a woman should put her career before her family, even when on her deathbed. Parts of it were touching. I did cry at one point. It's probably the best movie that's in theaters. But it could have been true art if hollywood's agenda didn't ruin it. What a waste.

Removed, dull, bla. There's no hero, no villian, no rising action, climax, falling action or resolution. I didn't find myself rooting for Priscilla or Elvis. All I felt was was embarrassment for the actors and from the actors. It was bad. The comments from the audience afterward were, "why was she so stupid?" And "she was at the ELVIS premiere." After this strange biopic, we're all confused by Priscilla- the movie and the person. If Elvis were as dull and unlikable as they portrayed him in the movie, he simply wouldn't be Elvis.
