To be honest this movie was amazing. I am a Johnny Depp fan and a potterhead so I was skeptical going in how this would be. Mads Mikkelsen plays the better Grindelwald and the chemistry between him and Jude Law was amazing and I truly feel they were in love. Which I did not feel with Jude and Johnny. This movie really relates to the potter series more than any of the other fantastic beasts and you learn so much more about Dumbledore. To be honest the rating the critics are giving is unfair and a inaccurate picture. Being American I am not surprised. You have the woke crowd unwillingly to ever forgive JK Rowlings for her comments about transgenders and the other side is not going to like a movie with a gay love story at it's heart. It's sad that this world can't be impartial enough to just rate this as a story and a movie and leave that aside. As a movie it is Fantastic!
