The soundtrack of this film was arguably the best thing about it. The story however was very chick flick, with characters which are very two dimensional including high school jocks to the less popular artistic types. The character Hunter wasn't realistic for me, being the spoilt boy of a rich plastic surgeon, just doesn't ring true for me. Guy's and girls with ambition for metal music weren't rich, they didn't start off with a Marshall full stack valve amp taking their parents credit card to by a £12000 drum kit, they started with very modest equipment and with plenty of practice a effort and saving built up their range of gear. To sum up, if what you're looking for is something to introduce your girlfriend perhaps to metal, this is your film but for the real experience nope
