Agony of Agonies

It was alright, but very forgettable.

It’s not Star Trek, and funnily enough it’s not about Picard. The acting is atrocious, even with legendary stars! The only real reason it gets two stars is for the amazing sets, makeup, and effects, they’re absolutely spectacular, but everything else is so incredibly bad. I grew up watching Next Generation, between Picard’s speeches and exploring the human condition: that series along with DS9 and parts of Voyager changed my life and how I see the world. I don’t see how any self-respecting Trek fan could ever rate this disaster highly. It took everything interesting about Trek, threw it away, and replaced it with banal tongue-in-cheek pseudo-political flailing. The real title of this series should be: “Wokeness - but in space.”

It had such incredible potential, but it’s just more of the same woke plot with amazing visuals. It gets three stars for the amazing commitment to lore and world design.

I never felt immersed, not once. Just one bland scene to the next with characters I desperately wanted to love but knew next to nothing about.

One of the most underrated, unappreciated games ever made.

Slow at times, but where this movie shines there’s just nothing else that is similar. It’s almost like a psychological fairy tale horror story.

I loved it up until (SPOILERS) . . . . Enchantress was made the main plot-point. Then she and her brother were taken care of too easily. Disappointing ending to a great build-up.

Decided to stick with Warband, the major gameplay issues are still present that make it frustrating for no good reason and utterly repetitive.

Amazing visuals, then randomly there’s a war, randomly they decide people can kill each-other and then suddenly be fine and have peace. Zero character development, tree-fey that could wreck armies but can’t break windows to escape a gas-chamber, and a stereotypical evil queen makes for a fantastically-done movie where plot reasoning and dialogue apparently doesn’t matter! The director of this movie obviously had this as a side-project. The ideas had such great potential and it was all wasted.
