People sure are all upset about “their Star Wars”. I’m a firm believer in get woke go broke, but I genuinely can’t think of something from this show that makes me think woke trash. The writing is a bit spotty at times and there are a ton of questions as to where this was going. The fight scenes were legit. The story intrigued me, but it seemed rushed for a first season. Especially a character dying off screen is unacceptable in the way they did it. I like that the Jedi aren’t seen as all good and it’s shown how incompetent they end up becoming in the future movies. The Jedi love brushing things under the rug and their NEED to be oblivious to problems is shown here. But the main complaints I’m seeing don’t make sense to me: There has been MAGIK in Star Wars for a long while, along with the Nightsisters. There power exists outside of the force in its own way since The Clone Wars cartoon series from my knowledge, so the hate about a bunch of women having a covenant and doing something to manipulate the force, or wherever they were going with it, isn’t outside of the realm of possibility for me. Nightsisters don’t like Jedi, them wanting to get away from the world in a time of the Jedi at their height makes sense. Magik in Star Wars is a bit ”evil” too lol idk I don’t get the hate. Yes, women made children by using their powers just like Plagius apparently manipulated the force to create Anakin. I also love how people are like “episode I said they haven’t seen a sith in a thousand years!!”. This is annoying lol they seemed apprehensive when they’re told at first and we don’t even know how this was supposed to end. There are force users outside of the Jedi and Sith as well. “He had red lightsabers”. Okay dude idk lol. The show was canceled so we’ll probably never know. Yoda has a habit of covering shit up so I wouldn’t put it past him to keep it quiet. (As a side note, I blame yoda for the fall of the Jedi and he IS an old bastard). I also saw a smooth brain complaining that they had purple lightsabers lol. That was a non-cannon add by SLJ, make up your mind. Lucas told him there’s only red green and blue, yet we got purple. And over the years yellow, white, black lol ridiculous complaint. And before anyone starts, Lucas did have his hands in the clone wars cartoon. Overall, I was disappointed to hear this show was canceled. While the writing was definitely flawed I thoughts the actors did a great job. The fight scenes were cool and seeing Plagius for that short bit was awesome. Qimir was the most interesting character and it’ll legit aggravate me if I don’t see more of him.
