Cars 2 is a piece of cinema history. It has action, loss, love, and betrayal that will leave you on the edge of your seat gasping. This movie shaped me into the person I am today and its divergence from the original dull plot of Cars and Cars 3 is really what makes it a gem. Mater, Holly Shiftwell, and Fin McMissle make more interesting characters than any boring peaked-in-highschool dirtbag racers like Lightning McQueen. It's an amazing and fun watch for anyone, no matter your age. Personally, having grown up on this movie- every rewatch reveals something new as I get older. The diverse cast, accompanied by the score and plot-twisty narrative is truly a masterwork that Pixar could never in their wettest dreams hope of recreating. 5 stars!
